Local Issues

Every area, community or neighbourhood has its issues. So what issues affect your area?

Here we have a space for you to raise issues, add your comments, thoughts and opinions or to make suggestions as to how these issues can be addressed, resolved or changed.

Join in the general discussion about current issues below.

These discussions and the issues and comments arising, find their way back to the people in your area tasked with helping to develop your community. In Waltham ward this is primarily the Waltham Parish Council. Other groups such as a Neighbourhood Watch, individual community development workers may also take an interest.

As key issues emerge or are identified, we’ll add new pages specific to those issues – spaces where much more information can be shared, expanded, discussed and progressed. The long term aim of course is to tackle issues, create pro-active action and to make your community or neighbourhood just that little bit better.

This needs your help. Please join in the discussion, but can you offer ideas and suggestions? Can you offer time or resources or actively help move an issue forward? Can you be a key contact for this issue and help keep the issue webpages up to date? If so, say so in your comments or email editor@inandaround.org.uk or phone Karl Elliott at VANEL on 01472 231123.
