Parish Councils

Parish Councils are the first tier of local government, and they deliver a vast number and variety of services at a community level.  Parish Councils are statuatory bodies.  Members are elected for a term of four years and councils are funded principally by an annual precept.  The precept is added to council tax and collected from the local authority.

The Waltham ward comprises of 3 Parish Councils.
